Professional Headshots and Portraits FAQs
Do you shoot headshots with natural light or in the studio?
Studio lighting is often most used for corporate headshots. Headshots also can be taken with natural light (indoors or outdoors) we can discuss what works for you.
Where should I use my Headshot?
You may use your portrait on your company website or on a professional network site like LinkedIn. Some clients will purchase more that one digital file to use on different sites depending on the nature of the site.
What is included in my headshot package?
All my portrait sessions are done with a digital camera. Your headshot package includes up to one hour of my time, I will take about 20 to 30 different photographs (may be more) and then display them on my computer screen for you to choose the pose you like. I will then retouch your photograph while you are watching and I will copy the files on a USB plug for you to take with you when you leave. In other words the session fee includes 1 retouch headshot file on a usb plug.
Can I purchase additional files?
Yes, for an additional fee.
Can I get a B&W version of my portraits.
What is your availability?
Having photographed in the Silicon Valley for over 19 years, we learned to accommodate our clients to the best we can, give us a call we will try to get you within a couple of day. We also do last minute sessions for a small additional fee.
When can we do a consultation?
I’m happy to have a phone consultation at anytime that’s convenient for you.
Due to time constraints , there is a $50 charge per half hour, for in person meetings.
In the event that you decide to book a session, your $50 will apply towards the session.
What kind of clothing should I bring to my headshot session?
Bring as many of your favorite outfits as you would like. Stay away from big patterns that will take the focus away from of your headshot. When you arrive for you portrait session we can discuss what may work best for what you are trying to accomplish with your headshot. We can take portraits with different outfits and see what works for you.
Can you help me with my LinkedIn profile photo?
Yes, after you choose the portrait you like for your LinkedIn profile, I will retouch and crop it according to Linked In specifications. If you would like I will even upload it to your Linked In profile page.
